Sunburn

Good high protection sunblock creams should be used to prevent sunburn. Treat burning with cold water as for other burns to remove the heat. Calamine lotion may help and Paracetomol will ease the discomfort. Children especially, burn easily and care is needed to avoid over-exposure. Sunburn in the early years of life can lead to skin cancer later on - please be cautious - aim to be 'pale but interesting'.
